m-suena a poema

Distance is a form of erosion. Like the fluvial and the eolic. Water, sun and wind are classic elements of erosion. I believe their absences are also eroding somehow. The heart seems to be carved like a sedimentary rock. Sedimentation of present over past together with those elements of erosion. Pieces. Crack, mud, blown. Pieces can be lost and then we recover from memory. The heart is like a shell then, spiral.

Katrina

shooting
looting
burning
this is a world for criminal selfish minds that have grown up in privilege

there is a shark now scavenging dead bodies under the water in a city under water
city of mardy grass where white people like filling out streets just to get wasted and exhibit breasts once a year

black people fleeing disaster as always and everywhere
the poorest peoples of the richest country

once more, guilt of being privileged among the unprivileged
and anger
because natural disasters are more catastrophic because of peoples unnatural minds
